Recycling award winner since 2001
Since 2001, Byers’ Leaf Guard has won California’s WRAP award for leadership in recycling. WRAP (Waste Reduction Awards Program) was created by the California Integrated Waste Management Board to recognize California businesses that have made outstanding efforts to reduce waste going to landfills.
We created partnerships with other local businesses to recycle old gutters, scrap metal and cardboard, saving an estimated 1200 tons of waste from going to landfills since 2001. We’re doing our part to cut down on greenhouse gas emissions, too. Our estimators visit customers in fuel-efficient, low-emission Volkswagen Bugs.
